Following the Governor's recommendations, Grassroot Givers will be closed until May 15th, at which time we will re-evaluate. We will be keeping our facebook page and website up to date. Following precautionary guidelines, we are continuing to give out books and home essentials to our Albany partners who reach out to us with specific needs. We are asking our generous donors to support our efforts, as well as our partners at the South End Children's Café and HATAS’ Feed and Read Program.
We thank you for your continued support and hope everyone stays healthy!

Our mission is to make a connection between the needs in our community and those who have resources to share. We are happy to continue to make this connection.    If you are one of our partner agencies in need of specific items, please let us know.  We have the best donors!!!!  Last but not least, thank you for your understanding regarding our need to cancel Trivia.  We really appreciate your support  and generosity.

#stimulus4good

Perhaps you will receive a stimulus payment from the government and are fortunate enough to consider using a portion to help a good cause.  Or maybe your income makes you ineligible for a stimulus payment and you are looking to help those in need during this crisis.  Please consider a donation to Grassroot Givers so that we can continue our work, promoting literacy and assisting families with clothing and basic home essentials to help stabilize their day-to-day lives. With children home from school, access to books and basic necessities is more important now than ever.
