At Grassroot Givers, our mission is to provide like-new items to individuals and families, free of charge, ensuring that everyone has access to the support they require.

We occasionally sell items that do not fit within the scope of our program. It's important to note that any proceeds generated from these sales go directly towards supporting the programs and initiatives at Grassroot Givers. These funds not only allow us to sustain our operations but also enable us to continue making a positive impact in our communities.

Volunteer With Us

As a small nonprofit, we depend on volunteers to help us directly support individuals, nonprofits, academic programs, literacy projects, and other agencies.

We have many volunteer opportunities available, including children’s book drives to support HATAS’ Feed & Read program; construction, maintenance, and restocking of Little Free Libraries in Albany; and sorting and organizing incoming donations.

If you’d like to contribute your time and skills to our organization, email us at info@grassrootgivers.org.
